Wyndham Moore-Haines was born in South Wales and from early childhood enjoyed art. Despite his school teacher mother's strictures on getting a proper  job (Wyndham trained as an electrical engineer and worked  in the mining industry for some years before changing track completely and going into catering and then in to catering management in his late twenties) he maintained his love of art and painting.

Taking early retirement and moving to Wales with his wife, writer Chrissy in 1988, he was suddenly at liberty to concentrate on his painting

The countryside around their home in the Snowdonia National Park inspired him to paint some charming landscapes and with out the need to be just a week end painter (tidying away the paints and paper on Monday morning) he has been able to give full vent to his imagination.

He joined the Meirionnydd Artists Society with whom he regularly exhibits work and has completed a foundation course in the Visual Arts held at Coleg Harlech under the expert tutelage of Tamar Davies.

A recent course on print making at Harlech, resulted in the six prints in his most recent exhibition.

Wyndham admits to many influences on his painting but has managed to maintain his own individual style throughout his work..

Wyndham has had four one man exhibitions at the New Library at Blaenau Ffestinniog the most recent of which was in April and May 2005.
